ABOUT
"Not Your Usual Taxi Ride" flips the script on traditional taxi games. Your mission is still to get passengers to their destinations... but forget about polite pick-ups! Instead, you're slamming into them with your high-octane taxi, sending them ricocheting across the city like a human pinball. Who knew taxi driving could feel like a chaotic blend of bumper cars and mini-golf?
Every run might be slightly different as the clients (aka the "Pippottini") and their destinations are randomly selected.
Competition is not welcome in this city, the UPER police drone will be on your tail to stop you!
CONTROLS
- W/S / Up-Down Arrows / Left and Right Trigger ---> Gas and Brake
- A/D / Left-Right Arrows / Left Thumbstick ---> Steering
- Space / [A] Button ---> Slowmo Drift
The Slowmo Drift is your ultimate maneuver: slow time to pull off ridiculous turns and instantly change direction with precision.
Master it, and you'll own the streets.
TIPS
- The UPER drone will spawn at score 2.
- You can Slowmo Drift has no cooldown so use as much as you need!

Very fun, once I got a handle on using the drift to turn around I was able to navigate with some accuracy but the controls were definitely a challenge. You definitely nailed the chaos factor, but the game is very hard, once the drone showed up I really struggled. I think maybe making it so you could ram into them to get rid of them for a time or something like that would help give the player a chance. But I loved the concept and had some real fun with this one.
Very fun game with some challenging mechanics!
